ITHPs are willing to work in positions other than their profession from their country of origin (e.g. dentists as dental hygienists)
Some ITHPs will be able to obtain certificates & licenses necessary to practice their profession from their country of origin in the US, e.g. nurses
Public & private health sector employers will hire WB participants
Partnerships between regional educational institutions are required to implement & institutionalize Welcome Back
The need for dental hygienists is well documented; oral health disparities are high especially within people of color and low income
Safety net providers offer oral health services and need dental hygienists
IMG's would like to become PA's
There are job opportunities for PA's in California
Current backlog in the process of reviewing foreign nurse applications is negatively impacting WB participants
Accelerated ADN program can be implemented through RHORC
English Health Train (EHT = an accelerated health focused ESL program) will enhance participants' ability to enter the workforce
